As a Trainee Seismic Observer Elnusa position you will be traineed as Seismic Observer who responsible responsible for the accurate setup and operation of all seismic recording systems and streamers with associated hardware/devices onboard the vessel. This position actually very similar with Geophysical Data Technicians who respinsible to measure, record, and evaluate geological data, using sonic, electronic, electrical, seismic, or gravity-measuring instruments to prospect for oil or gas
You are also responsible to prepare and execute a plan for field recording which will ensure that all recording and testing operations comply with client parameters. Comply with and enforce HSE, and clients policies, processes and procedures.
Trainee Seismic Observer Elnusa sometimes is also participates in small boat operations including in-water equipment maintenance & Fast Rescue Craft formalities. You are responsible for all in-sea recording equipment, which can include up to 80km of towed streamer. They will deploy seismic spreads of this scale required thorough planning and excellent teamwork. To maintain it requires thorough technical and working knowledge of digital electronics and computing
When you have a plan to apply this position, you require passed from bachelor degree majoring in Geophysics with GPA min 2,8 scale of 4.00. You are also require a good in English and willing to travel. We are looking Fresh graduates candidates to apply this position.
